How do I know how much refill sand I need?

That depends on the size of your container. A standard bowl or vase uses an average of 300–500 grams per refill. Not sure? 400g is usually enough for one full refill.

Do I need to remove the old candle sand first?

Not necessarily. You can easily add new sand on top of the existing sand. Only if the sand is contaminated or you want to start from scratch can you replace it.

Can I continue to use my existing fuses?

Yes, as long as the wick is still long enough and burning well, you can continue using it. If it's too short or burnt out, simply replace it with a new wick.

Does the burn time change when refilling?

No. The refill sand has the same composition and burning properties as your original purchase. So you can expect the same calm and even flame.

Can I combine the refill sand with my Aroma Essence?

Yes. You use the refill sand just as you used before. Simply add your desired fragrance before lighting for the same subtle scent experience.
